Happy August!

It's the first of August and I have something to cross off of my summer list: kayaking to Curtis Island. After our guests left this morning, my mom and I took off for the island (Dan held down the fort back at home).

And there you have it.  The island itself isn't very big, but my mom and I still had a fun time exploring.   As you can tell from the pictures, the town of Camden has very generously placed benches and chairs about the island from which weary kayakers/boaters can sit back, relax and take in the view. And you certainly can't beat that view. It was a little windy and there were many sailboats out and about. All in all, a perfectly picturesque Camden day.
